consignment policy
how do I consign my items? Some of our western wear clothing designers include Kevin Garcia, Showtime, Paula's Place, and Connie's Customs. We also carry show headstalls, saddles, halters, and saddle pads. You can send us your gently used or new items; all items must be accompanied by your completed and signed consignment policy. Second Go Show Clothing, LLC does maintain at its sole discretion the right to refuse any item for any reason. These items will be returned to the consignor at the consignor's expense. We will also accept items at shows. Contact us for details regarding the shipment of your items! You must complete some paperwork prior to us listing your products!
what is the consignment fee? All items consigned through Second Go Show Clothing will be charged 25% of the selling price, which is the consignment fee. Saddles (and sets) will be charged 10% of the selling price, which is the consignment fee.
how are items priced for consignment? Selling prices will be determined at the sole discretion of Second Go Show Clothing based upon: condition of the item; demand for the item; and, current styles and trends. If you state a recommended price on the attached form, at the time you submit your items for consignment, we will consider your recommended price in our process of determining the selling price. If you state a lowest negotiation price on the attached form at the time you submit your item for consignment, we may sell that item at the lowest negotiation price at our sole discretion.
how are my items sold? All items consigned will be displayed on the Second Go Show Clothing web site, as well as at attend horse shows. Items consigned, and that remain unsold after 90 days will be reviewed, and at Second Go's sole discretion, possibly marked down in price determined soley by Second Go Show Clothing, but not lower than your lowest negotiation price. If your items have not sold after one (1) year from the date of consignment, we will review your items and contact you to discuss the next steps. If Second Go Show Clothing is not able to reach you, with the contact information you have provided on the next page, within 30 days after the consignment period ends, your items will become the property of Second Go Show Clothing, and will be donated to charity. If you opt to have your items returned to you, you will be responsible for the shipping and handling charges that will apply.
sale of your item Payment will be sent via First Class Mail within 30 days of the selling date, by check, to the consignor at the address listed on the consignment form. The consignor listed will receive 75% of the selling price, of the item. The consignor listed will receive 90% of the selling price of the saddle (and sets).
shipping information All items will be shipped via UPS or USPS to the 48 States and are based on US dollars at applicable rates, depending on method for shipment. Please contact for current National and International shipping rates. $10 handling fee applies to each shipment. Items typically ship 1-4 days from order date.
return policy All items must be returned within 10 days of delivery date, and in the same condition as when purchased. Tags must be intact on items. Credit will be issued less shipping charges. It is the responsibility of the customer to pay for shipping charges for returns to Second Go Show Clothing. Please include a copy of your invoice for proper credit to be applied.
